One of the biggest attractions for tourists coming to Ecuador is the sighting of humpback whales and their mating spectacle. This takes place very close to the Ecuadorian coast and between the months of June to September.

These cetaceans travel thousands of kilometers from Antarctica in search of the warm waters off our coast.

From our charter service in Manta, (rental / charter of our catamaran boat) you will be able to observe the whales and also their calves depending on the time of the year.

In June and July the males are in the process of mating and in August and September, you can already begin to see their young.

In addition, and with a little luck, you will also enjoy the spectacular jumps made by the whales to court the females.

Some of the tours we also offer include diving and snorkeling activities in areas a little far from the whale watching site. If you do this type of activities, you will have the opportunity to listen to the beautiful songs of the humpback whales, which can be seen from thousands of miles away.
