ON BOARD OUR SAILING YACHT IN MANTA, ECUADOR

Our sailboat Rockola is registered with the Ministry of Tourism. One of the requirements for registration with the Ministry of Tourism is that both the yacht and the captain have all the nautical titles and certifications. That is another guarantee of safety at sea for our clients and students.

The yacht has a maximum capacity of 11 passengers + captain and is anchored next to Manta Yacht Club. We board from the artisanal dock, located to the right of Manta Yacht Club with direct access from the street. There we take a boat that takes us to the yacht. (SEE LOCATION OF THE DOCK).

It has all the security measures: vests, boat and lifebuoys, AIS locator, UHF radio…

HOW CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION?

The process is very simple, simply send us a WhatsApp or call us indicating these details:

  1. YOUR NAME
  2. DESIRED DATE AND TIME.
  3. TYPE OF ACTIVITY.
  4. LET US INDICATE IF IT WILL BE FOR PLACES OR EXCLUSIVELY.
  5. PASSENGERS TO BOARD, (maximum 11).

Once we receive this information, we will check availability and we will contact you to resolve any possible doubts and indicate our banking information.

To confirm the reservation, it is necessary to pay a percentage of the rate. Once said payment has been made and notified, we will proceed to block that activity, date and time for you in our reservation manager.

Depending on the type of reservation, the transfer must be:
  • BY PLACES (shared boat): 100% of the rate.
  • EXCLUSIVELY: 50% of the fare, the other 50% can be paid directly to the captain on the day of boarding.

Our International Chef will take care of the smallest detail related to your event to make it unforgettable.

We have all types of menus: from something simple and economical to large romantic meals or dinners where the guest, in addition to enjoying the unique and exclusive environment that a ship offers, can enjoy good gastronomy.

If you want to hire this service, we will provide you with the contact of our Chef so that he can prepare the catering you want with you.

SAILING COURSES

Taught by Captain and Professional Instructor.

We have courses suitable for all ages and levels: both for beginners who want to start sailing and sailors who want to perfect their knowledge of sailing.

In our sailing school in Manta, Ecuador, you will learn everything about docking and anchoring maneuvers, how to orient yourself with respect to the direction of the wind, how to trim (adjust) the sails depending on the angle of incidence of the wind, how to forecast the weather , use the VHF radio and on-board electronics, etc.
